Looking for a way to make reading practice enjoyable for children?
Reader’s Theater is a fun activity where children work together in small groups to read aloud a piece of literature. It provides children with an opportunity to read with expression, enhance reading comprehension skills, and improve reading fluency. It’s a good tool for grades 1 and up that will boost children’s reading, listening, and speaking skills.
The Reader’s Theater Poetry Bundle is a collection of 90 Reader’s Theater scripts made from classic and Christian poems that will work for 2 – 8 readers.
This bundle is comprised of two products: Reader’s Theater: Classic Poetry and Reader’s Theater: Christian Poetry.
Reader’s Theater: Classic Poetry is a collection of 46 classic poems by well-known authors such as Louisa May Alcott, William Shakespeare, Christina Georgina Rossetti, Edward Lear, and Emily Dickinson.
Some of the titles included in this set are “Deeds of Kindness,” “The Boy and the Wolf,” “Try Again,” “The City Mouse and the Country Mouse,” and “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.”
These poems have been made into easy-to-use scripts that children can read aloud and present to an audience.
Reader’s Theater: Christian Poetry is a collection of 44 Christian poems by various authors including G.K. Chesterton, William Blake, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, Henry Wordsworth Longfellow, and Louisa May Alcott.
Some of the poems you’ll find in this set are “God is Good,” “What Christ Said,” “Robinson Crusoe’s Hymn,” “The Lamb,” and “Shepherd Boy’s Song.”
Like the Reader’s Theater: Classic Poetry, these poems have been made into scripts that can be read aloud and presented to a group.
All in all, this bundle will provide you with hours of read-aloud fun and will be less expensive than buying each Reader’s Theater product individually.
